Mike Morgan, M.S., L.Ac.

Mike Morgan has been practicing Acupuncture & Asian Medicine for nearly two decades.  He is a graduate of both  the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), where he studied Acupuncture, and he is a graduate of the American College of TCM in San Francisco where he focused his training in Chinese Herbal Medicine, Dermatology, and Allergy & Epidemic Diseases.  In addition, Mike has studied Acupuncture Orthopedics with Fred Lerner, D.C., at Cedars-Sinai Hospital assisting patients with integrating between Western Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and holistic medicines.  Mike has earned national certifications in both Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Mike was a Clinical Faculty Member at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley California for several years where he supervised graduate Interns directly in the college's community clinic, as well as treating healthcare providers at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Mission, Bay San Francisco.  He was also the Herbal Pharmacy manager and Clinical Dean at AIMC.  Mike was an on-staff herbalist at the Walnut Creek Elephant Pharmacy, as well as one of their Professional Practitioners who are available for private consultations. In his spare time, Mike enjoys landscape photography and travel.

In addition to his private practice, Mike is treating children at UCSF Benioff Hospitals.  He is part of a three years research study treating symptoms as a result of pediatric cancer treatments such as nausea & vomiting, fatigue, pain, depression and anxiety as well as providing general wellness support.
